1201 - Sheriff Tim Coons has been our Trimble County Sheriff for almost 12 years now and has more than 30 years of combined law enforcement and investigative experience having begun his career in Law Enforcement in South Florida in 1981 before going into private investigative work. The Sheriff earned a college degree in Criminal Justice during his time in Florida and continues his law enforcement education and training through the annual training program supported by the Kentucky Law Enforcement Council at Eastern Kentucky University. The Sheriff encourages his staff to continue to learn to better enable them to serve the community. 

1203 - Deputy Bo Simpson; Deputy Simpson came to TCSO after retiring with 20 years of service from the Oldham County Police Department. He began his career in law enforcement with the LaGrange Police Department before transfering to the Oldham County Department. Deputy Simpson attended the Kentucky Law Enforcement Academy at EKU in 1990. His duties are patrol and investigative processes.

1211 - TCSO SRO - Tom Starks; Deputy Starks began serving as the Department Chaplin and has gone through the Kentucky Law Enforcement Academy graduating in 2013. He serves the county as a Patrol Officer and as the School Resource Officer working daily in the schools of Trimble County. Deputy Starks maintains an office at the Trimble County High School.   

1210 - Deputy Dale A. Ralston; Deputy Ralston began with the Trimble County Sheriff's Office July 2007. He serves as Deputy/Court Security Officer. He also handles tax collection, is the Office Training Officer scheduling mandated training for staff, and manages the warrant and process service. He takes citizen complaints via phone and in person, and also handles CCDW applications along with other general office duties. Deputy Ralston retired from the Kentucky State Police after 31 years as Police Telecommunication Operator and Driver Testing Administrator. He began service with KSP January 15, 1977 and retired July 31, 2008. Dale has been a life long resident of Trimble County. He graduated from Trimble Co. High School in 1975

Property Tax/Office Manager - Vicki Butler: Vicki has been with the Sheriff’s Office for quite some time working for Sheriff Denny Long before Sheriff Coons took office. Vicki returned to the TCSO at the start of Sheriff’s Coons 3rd term to support office operations and handle property tax activities.

1205 - Deputy Glen Powell; Deputy Powell has been with the Office for almost 14 years. He began working under retired Sheriff Denny Long. Deputy Powell’s duties are evening patrol and maintaining the office computer network. He came to TCSO after retiring with 20 years with the Louisville Police Department. As a Louisville policeman he served as a patrolman, a motorcycle officer and a Detective during his 20 years. While with LPD Deputy Powell had colateral duties as the Department Tactical Defense Instructor and worked on the Underwater Recovery Unit for twelve years. He was awarded the Louisville Police Department Medal of Valor in 1989.   

1206 - Deputy Guy Gene Cutshaw; Deputy Cutshaw has been a lifelong resident of Trimble County. He has long been involved in his coummunity and law enforcement being a member of the of the Bedford Baptist Church, an honary Kentucky Colonel, a member of the NRA and a sponsor of the US Deputy Sheriff’s Association. Deputy Cutshaw assists with serving civil and criminal documents, serving legal process notices, vehicle indentification inspections and patrol related issues. 

 1208 - Deputy/Chief Bailiff Beery Welty; Deputy Welty provides court room security for the Trimble County Courts regularly.  He has been with the Sheriff's Office since 2003. Beery is a life long resident of Trimble County having graduated from Trimble County High School in 1962. He attended Eastern Kentucky University and graduated from the Citizens Police Academy at KSP Post 5. Public service has long been a part of Officer Welty's life having served as a Staff Sergeant in the U. S. Army Reserve and Beery was a member of the Bedford Volunteer Fire Department. Active in our community, Beery is a Past President of Trimble County Jaycees and a member of Bedford Masonic Lodge #158. Beery retired from Kentucky Utilities with 33 plus years service and has been married for 43 years, with two sons.
